Biden and company had the chance to put Trump in jail immediately after Jan 6. Trump did some blatantly illegal shit and most of the country was aghast. He prioritized other shit and appointed Merrick Does Nothing Garland because of vibes or something. So Trump and the media was able to rehabilitate his image and memory hole the attack on our constitution.
Biden could have worked on court reform since this fascism is coming from the fed soc six. Nothing he did would stand up to them, but he made a blue ribbon panel that said it was all good. The justices then gave Trump immunity to do whatever the fuck he wants. Meaning he can pardon people for criminal acts. There is no check anymore.
The Dems should have seen what is coming from the fascists. I don’t know if people are fully aware of what the department of education does. It essentially makes sure that every school is following the federal laws that have been written in regards to fair access education, but it also distributes billions of dollars to public schools. If you’ve ever heard the term “title one school.” That is a school, where the majority of the students live in a state of poverty, and are therefore entitled to federal funds. If we allow the GOP to just completely take down the department of education, it could cripple most of your inner city schools.
Without the DoE schools can teach A is B and thats fine. Theres no standards for reading, math, or anything. While thats not entirely true either there will still be standards we know everyone in the bible belt is instantly getting a religious takeover and won’t be able to tell reality from falsehood ever again.
