The article doesn’t show the full data but there’s probably a good chunk of “don’t know / not sure” in that 22%.

YouGov is a poll that pays points pr. poll. These points can be used to buy actual products or gift cards worth real money. Lots of people click through them without reading the questions.
They sometimes add “click option 2 to verify that you’ve read the question”, but even then it’s likely that some percentages just click the right option by chance. On a short poll like this, they probably didn’t even do the check.
Some of them might not be sure or not care. A small percentage of around 5 percent can always be found to support pretty much anything in amy type of poll

I live in Denmark, and was at a farm store, where the attendant said that musk did not do a nazi salute. Do the schools teach history well in Denmark? Part of the problem in the USA is that people simply don’t know the history of Nazism and the Holocaust.
I’m Norwegian, so the educational system is basically the same. Though, I’m not sure about today, but growing up in the 90’s, we learned a lot about WW2, including pictures of when our elementary school was overtaken by the Nazis, so you’d think they’d be aware of it.

Not going to lie if I was Danish I’d probably be feeling Anti American enough to start giving China the mining contracts instead. That way if Trump does invade he’s not only going against Nato but also China.
That said it should probably be in the hands of the Greenlanders themselves but not sure a referendum is wise looking at the likes of Brexit etc.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a distraction or not. If Trump takes Greenland it will break NATO completely, and when Trump threatens to take Greenland, it weakens NATO and that can lead to all sorts of problems … just not necessarily for the US.
