I’ll have you know that I am an official paper CNE.

I find myself less concerned about the Palestinians than I was before the election. Their supporters’ insane decision to support Trump is one of the things that put him into office.
I agree, but this wouldn’t be about awkward – it would be vengeance. Just rewards. Assholes getting their due.
Of course he knew. That’s why he invited Rudolph into the lead position, at the front of the reindeer team. Santa didn’t really need a red light.
They must have skipped yellow-pea/green-pea day in high school Biology.

Unfortunately, that would effectively be a vote for Trump.
I am in my 60s now. I figure this will start to kick in any day now.

What do non-Americans think it is?
I was sure that Buddy had done this, in “Elf”, but I looked it up and that had been maple syrup. This looks even better.
I wonder how much money it takes to rebuild a blown engine in a new BMW 3-Series nowadays?
Edit: so I went and had a brief look in Google. It looks like they run between $6000 and $12000 depending on how powerful the engine is. So for a base model it would indeed be somewhat cheaper.
That’s an analogy that might appeal to the LE types.

I’ll guess that you have never been to California. There was pumpjack one block away from my house when I was growing up.
But in fact, the biggest thing keeping us from moving away from fossil fuels is the political pressure from people who make money from it. And if California went into Canada or Cascadia, those people would come with it, kicking and screaming all the way.
