The way “animal rights” framed as in agriculture, how our food-systems in both logistics and livestock-care are handled by the workers absolutely has importance to in a Marxist view…bird flu is one pertinent example I could think of.

Is this purposeful ignorance of this question, or are you waiting to get to it? Because you are quick to label things as “ultra-leftist” and act begrudging on concessions towards Vegans and acting like having a sober analysis of our current food-systems and deciding that the things we consume and their relation to the workers is a primary concern isn’t reasonable? Or am I misinterpreting your dismissive attitude?

In addition, you danced around the question. “a machine (or animal) does not.” Suppose if a machine did gain undeniable consciousness…is that not relevant to Marxist discussion because it does not yet show solidarity? A new life-form created under an economic system that would immediately be entitled to it’s labor and life in totality? There’s nothing there to analyze and that’s over-extension?

Also, unrelated, what does “Plague Rat Settler” mean, exactly?

edit: Nice. A downvote and no response.

  • A lot of burgers are locked entirely into mainstream media; or the revolving NGOs masquerading as news agencies revolving around it. With a good chunk of the population entirely subsumed into the narratives presented on prime-time, I think it’s really, really hard for anyone “counter-cultural” to either not be coopted or casted out entirely when they don’t follow orders.

    I mean, look at Greta.

  • Getting into it with someone IRL and having them straight up say that “Of course America will be able to actually catch up and compete if we get some of the loose baggage off of us!”

(This loose baggage is things like D.E.I, trans etc)

Despite the unpleasantry, I was able to get them to at least admit that cutting government programs isn’t gonna make us somehow compete with China. Nor spending billions on programs that only cost China hundreds of millions. Decent progress, despite the bad-taste in my mouth.

The thing that makes me genuinely shocked though is that there are a lot of burgers who think that by just being as racist, homophobic piece of shit settlers even harder that somehow that will absolve their country of struggle and decay. Somehow that will solve all the issues…it’s the “third column” holding our country back…apparently. I suppose all the propaganda of “China bad” in terms of convincing burgers of their wunderwaffe compared to “inferior chinese products” really did take a toll.
