She discovered that, after she broke up with him, Rob spiraled into depression and drugs, and eventually stripping. Pam never realized how much Rob truly cared for her, and she always regretted breaking up with him. After a long heart-to-heart discussion, they realized that they were still in love and were truly meant for each other. So they killed Steve and went on the run to Mexico.
