It’s only a matter of time. They don’t display any ads on nsfw subreddits currently, so management likely sees these subreddits as nothing but a cost, especially because they tend to be heavily image/gif based. what they are unsure about, which is why they haven’t been purged yet, is likely how much traffic to non-nsfw subreddits nsfw subreddits drive. I think we are likely to see purges of them when/if ad money dips or plateaus and they turn their eye to minimizing operating costs.

Edit: the ones on the screen seem down but there are definitely still some nsfw subreddits still open. Either the purgening has just begun or those fit some kind of criteria for a ban.

I can imagine by some stretch you can still blame the rich, maybe without the rich people they’d have more access to better farmland, cheap water, etc.

Absolutely, but they should be beholden to the same rules as those impressed by banks to those who work in the financial sector. They should have to provide intent in advance of the buy or sell by 30 days, get approval from an ethics comittee before they make the exchange, and have steep penalties if they do not follow this. Only step I’d add is this event should be publicly available, but that would make it much harder to implement.

It’s not rocket science to make a working system for this, they just don’t want a working system.

Probably the earl Grey infused gin I’ve had in a decanter for 4 years now. It’s pretty goof, but hard to mix with
