What country? “Many countries” have little to no workers’ (or human) rights, that doesnt make them a good metric for deciding what’s ok.
I was tossing so much produce before that I ended up choosing a dedicated container that I toss any veggies that are starting to expire or I know I will be too lazy to use and keep it in our freezer.
Once it fills up I make a big batch of vegetable stock and reduce what I won’t use that day to a thick paste with a lot of salt and the vegetable waste goes into the compost. Makes me feel way better about it and is pretty ADHD friendly (toss and forget then process it all at once).
You need a car to get to work. How are you supposed to not buy oil? The point is the fossil fuel industry gave us no real alternative, you don’t have to eat at a restaurant to survive but you need a job to.
It’s a short, the metal would heat up extremely fast and burn.
You are now fully aware of where your tongue is.
And the fact that when you want to see where something is located on a map in a game it is impossible to find it ANYWHERE. You have to go to those scummy sites that make you read paragraphs with ads sandwiched in between and a following video ad taking up half the page to finally tell you in the final sentence. When they can literally just show you a point on the map.

Even worse, https://unity.com/pricing-updates is posted on their site:
“We leverage our own proprietary data model and will provide estimates of the number of times the runtime is distributed for a given project – this estimate will cover an invoice for all platforms.”
Estimating how many copies you sold based on your own ‘data models’ which is impossible to track? Isn’t that like a giant red flag for laundering money?
But in which direction?! 😬
I think the point is more that it’s something people paid real money for just to have them rip it away with basically no notice and no replacement.
“Work for us and sometimes we will pay you!”
So it’s basically a job that instead of getting paid YOU have to pay the employer to work each month but they may pay you instead some months?
I’m pretty bad about that too, better leave a comment.
That’s it? The company is worth $55 billion
I’m willing to bet even if that were true a good portion of those are fake or a person with multiple accounts.
Are the ads injected in real-time or at the start of the video?
I assume it uses extra processing power to add them randomly for each user individually so if it was the latter would rapidly refreshing the page over and over again force them to completely rerun the process over again and slow their servers down? I guess I’m not entirely sure how this would work.
