I just use the random matchmaking to find randoms to play a session or two with. And it’s pretty fine, most people are competent these days at least between the 5-7 difficulty levels. I rarely fail a mission completely.
Just some pathetic cis white boy from Canada’s worst province who never amounted to much of anything. Work in a grocery store that is mostly okay, but don’t make enough to live off so I’m resigned to just trying to not cry too much every day. I have a partner I dearly love.

Just don’t talk. I never talk, even when I had weirdos who wanted me to talk I just muted them and we did a few missions before I bounced.
Unfortunately, north america is completely checked out on basic prevention these days. They did like 6 months of pseudo isolation and the need for brunch and a night out with the bros/ ladies night, was too strong.
It’s a good thing we didn’t all get infected with a disease that seemingly makes us more vulnerable to future infections… And I’m sure everyone regularly goes for updated flu shots.
At this point if you find a place in retail or food that isn’t running on a skeleton crew to barely run the place then it’s probably an accident of scheduling. Because about 15 years ago all the business managers decided that quality experiences in stores is expensive and what are customers gonna do? Shop elsewhere? No, you do the bare minimum, keep the employees miserable and try to force them to quit with terrible work environments so you never need to give them a raise because they all quit within a year. The suckers who stick around get promoted to supervisor and given a pittance of like 40k a year to abuse the shit out others so they will continue to quit within the first year. It’s the cycle of retail hell.
It also allows them to alter the perception of refugees fleeing hostile governments from South America, as lazy bums who want to fuck up America by traveling over 4000 miles across mountains and rivers to get to America. Americans cannot be allowed to learn the reasons why these people fleeing South America, to learn that their governments were destabilized so that bananas could remain cheap, or so that oil prices wouldn’t become cheap, or anything other myriad of pretzel shapes Cia spooks will create to justify their crimes against humanity.
I’m sure it has happened because Florida has the huge spring break scene when college weirdos go there and do shit they’d never do back home.
Which is to say that they are leaning hard into Florida man bullshit. Every place in America has that insane weirdo shit happen, Florida media just has open access to police reports so they can comb through everything and find something insane to make a slow news day more exciting.

The most positive I’ve heard is that it is a by the numbers Bethesda rpg game. It doesn’t try to be anything more. If you liked fallout 4 and skyrim odds are you’ll like this.
Shares a granola bar full of peanuts and lies and tells me there’s no peanuts in it. RIP me.
