Ah yeah, could be. I’ll keep that in mind for future posts. The original PNGs were 11mb each, so I thought I might have to downscale them. Converting to WEBP was pretty effective though, so I didn’t bother.

Sure thing. Don’t forget to post a comment about it to this thread: https://burggit.moe/post/9640
The main post hasn’t been updated in a while, but people that aren’t logged in to burggit will at least be able to see your comment, so that they can subscribe from other instances.
I think they might do it by “purging” the community in question from their instance, just getting rid of any stored posts and subscriptions, without actually completely blocking anything. Just speculation on my part though.
Give it a shot, I can help you out with any questions that you have about it.
Hmm, that’s a fair point. I know instances do sometimes selectively block communities as well. Mixing it in here makes it harder for them to curate things how they want to.
@Orid@burggit.moe Any thoughts? Not making a final determination here yet, but perhaps making a new community specialized in 3DCG art would be better?
This will get us defederated by even more probably…
Maybe, but the number of instances that are fine with lolicon but not with this is probably pretty small, if not zero. Not to mention that there’s a toddlercon community on here too.

I ran this by @Burger@burggit.moe, and he said that it’s unrealistic-looking enough that it doesn’t run afoul of the “Loli/Shota/Cub is allowed, but content must clearly be fictional at a glance” rule.
@Orid@burggit.moe I’d like the community to be mainly focused on 2D, but some 3DCG is fine. Probably limit it to 2 posts per day. I think a steady drip of content is better than big floods anyway.
The canary is triggered through inaction, not action. The government would have to compel the target of the subpoena to keep updating the canary on schedule.
Probably a shift from “allow by default” to “deny by default”. Instead of just letting anyone create an account and start posting, more sites will become invite-only and/or require manual approval before posts become visible.
@ano@burggit.moe Relevant to your fetishes thread
Ha, didn’t catch those!
And put her swimsuit back on. 😆
I usually put my favorite image as the first one, especially if they’re all just variants of the same picture.
Sorry about that. I do include a rape tag on posts where the situation seems clearly non-consensual. I don’t generally do that for more ambiguous situations like this one though, where it can be interpreted as just rough sex.
