I don’t mean the military acronyms, those make the most sense of all.

I mean all the other, you just need to see the reat of the comments, video games, names of celebrities and politicians, others are used as euphemisms. Now you can even read news articles were only use the acronym of whatever without mentioning a single time what that acronym stands for.

Also, why are Americans so obsessed with acronyms?

Generally I don’t buy shit I don’t need. Most shit I want but I don’t really need I can find it in a brick and mortar shop. For everything else I try to go to the source or a specialised seller as close as possible to where I live.

From what I heard it is the same price because amazon doesn’t allow them to sell cheaper anywhere else.

Not only that, electronic money is dependent of internet connection. If right now an internet outage of a few minutes is pure chaos in most retail, imagine not having something to fallback on a longer outage.
