I hear they permanently implanted a contact mic in her nuckles so the audience can feel like they are the sternum itself.
I’m a daily rider/commuter by motorcycle and I’d love to get an electric bike. I don’t think I’d miss shifting gears at all, but (and I’ve been thinking about this) I think I’d like to have some kind of electric “clutch” that doesn’t work at all like a regular clutch but performs a similar function. In this case it would adjust the throttle map. Clutch full in = throttle does nothing. Clutch full out = aggressive or linear throttle map. I have not actually ridden any of the high end e-motos to know if this is necessary, but in my mind I would miss the ability to feather the clutch.
Yeah, I’d be getting a lower class ebike coz in Australia basically an ebike has to be 250w or less and pedal assist or it falls into a grey/illegal area. I can’t be arsed with running an illegal bike - even if I might never get caught/questioned.
I feel like it’d be something like:
Something for offroad motocamp trips. Something electric for daily comute and runabout. And an electric grocery getter - which tbh should probs be an ebike so I could ride on bike paths etc, but I’ll keep my answer more moto related.
Generally I try to have a creative, hands-on project on the go. Lately that’s been rebuilding a guitar, but it could be designing something on the computer.
Otherwise; playing guitar, gardening, practice putting (disc golf). So I guess hobbies.
Songkick? I’ve been using it for a few years and it works reasonably well. I believe you can connect it to Spotify too. The only negative is it’s usually 3-5 days behind the announcement of shows. Following the artist directly is still the best bet to guarantee you hear it straight away. But that’s only a problem if the show/artist is super popular and sells out fast.
This was the info I was interested in.
Finely ground (espresso) coffee grounds were dried in the sun and then sifted. Then mixed with binders (xanthan gum and carboxymethyl cellulose powders) and water. These are printed in a modified consumer grade fdm 3d printer using a syringe instead of the hot end. The resulting material is claimed to be as strong as unreinforced concrete, but is biodegradable.
Nice! I started on a GN250. Very easy bikes to ride and maintain
Nah, you’re alright. It took us a while before we committed to splitwise and yeah, it was mostly a convenience thing. Less stress over maths and keeping tabs. You could say that it’s causing you stress and you’d like to at least give a splitwise-like app a go. It’ll hopwfully free up your mind to focus on the romance and each other.
Without getting into the whole relationship side of things. My partner and I use the splitwise app for almost all our joint spending and find it works well to keep things fair and it keeps a record of things. Most things are split 50/50, but you can can do any percentage split based on the situation - like if one person uses the car most of that week, we might split fuel 70/30 or if one of us wanted to splurge on a shared expense and the other didn’t, we might agreed to split it 60/40 - that way the splurger gets what they want and it fits within the others budget.
Following sports. Being a die hard sports fan is time consuming and stressful. Obviously betting on sports is an addiction people talk about now, but even tipping comps and fantasy football type leagues are things that rob you of time and energy.
Yup. And the ability to feel nothing was a super power.
