I’m using lineageOS. You can choose whether to add Gapps (google bundle) to it. By default there’s no google anything. Most devices officially supported by the project work great from what I’ve seen. It makes old phones faster in some cases.

lol now that sounds like some real neckbeard shit defending some big company. why do people do that? its not like they are involved with it and making money off of it? (or maybe they are?) I’ll never understand it.

normally, their app is plagued with ads and custom icons are locked. I’ve used the official app patched with revanced and that makes it usable, but still sucks, especially with videos. I’m trying to view and post more content here instead.
