Nor can I but I think that’s the fault of the app I’m using rather than it being a GIF.

Why would anyone provide content for free? Everyone needs to be paid for their work.
Also, “endangering” doesn’t seem like the right word. “killing” would be more fitting.
I have had many cats and have never had a problem with them grabbing the toilet paper.
Hopefully, the UK is going to take a couple of steps to the left shortly.
If it does, it’s not because the country is moving left but because the right fucked up.
We have the option to go private too. My brother had his NHS appointment delayed due to doctors’ strikes so he went private and got his operation done very quickly.
Because he had insurance already it only cost him about £150.
What is feasible is a speed limiter based on the posted limit, but that’d be too practical.
I have recently got a car that tells me the currently posted limit and it is frequently wrong. It misses sign posts and sometimes thinks that a signpost for a side road applies to you.
It also has a speed limiter and a button to set the limit to the detected speed which I use a lot but I wouldn’t want it to do it itself.
It’s on the xkcd chart of good and bad ideas.
Listed as sounds like a bad idea but is actually a good idea.
I don’t get something about the article. They are saying that there is a labour shortage so they need to do this but they also say that the employers have all the power.
Usually, a labour shortage means that the employees have the power so you’d have thought that they’d have been able to tell the employers to piss off when they try to increase their hours.
I think that people didn’t realise that this was a joke. I thought that it was funny.
Sunak’s (official)reasoning when he gave the go ahead for more fossil fuel production was that we aren’t losing our dependence on fossil fuels any time soon and it was better for the environment to produce the energy locally rather than importing it.
The real reason was probably money.
I guess that it was an unknown prior medical condition. /s
If you switch out “allow” for “say” then it’d be correct.
It’s like he’d never seen The Jinx.
We have a cardboard cutout police officer in the lobby of some shops.
I’m so surprised to see my country on there. The UK has had problems with anti semitism in politics and they seem scared to say anything bad about Israel.
Is it saying that the PHP developers are kids and the C++ developer is acting as their parent?
I’m not sure.
I used to hate that they had a consent option and a legitimate interest option for the same thing. It wasn’t clear what would happen if I agreed to one and not the other.
Then they started being explicit and saying that these “partners” require consent and these others require you to object to their legitimate interest and now I hate it more because there are hundreds of these “partners”.
There was a piece on a fairly recent Smashing Security podcast that said that some car manufacturers are sending data to the insurance companies anyway.

It is always work even if it’s a passion project.
People used to make shitty websites with good content but now they need to make good, professional looking websites for people to even look at them to decide on the whether the content was good.
This takes time and if you’re doing it for free then you’re choosing to do extra work on top of your day job.
As others have said, there are costs to hosting a website other than the time that you’re expecting people to give for free.
