I also have a 3080 and will try to snatch a 5090 tomorrow but I know I won’t be able to get one so yep, waiting for 6090 already pretty much.

I hope you can opt out because, if I understood correctly, FSR 4, since it is hardware bound, it is exclusive to AMD GPUs vs FSR 3 not requiring any particular GPU brand.

If AMD can’t finally compete in the budget segment they are going to be in real trouble.

Being Nintendo the fact that it is basically the same is the actual surprise.

I’m planning on getting the 5090 FE provided scalpers don’t ruin it (which is the most likely scenario by the way). I have a 3080 and have recently upgraded to 4k OLED, going from 3k to 4k has taken a serious blow to the FPS and I’d like to play some of the newer games at high settings and high FPS so I’m due for an update.

I have a no problem with DLSS on the games I played so far. Whichever artifacts it may have they “disappear” during gameplay. You are not counting pixels while you are playing. I know this is not the solution we want but we need to be realistic here, there is a reason why CGI can’t be rendered in real time. Certainly we are still far away from that type of quality yet the games we play are rendering in real time. We cannot afford the size and price of CGI workstations so we have to rely on these “gimmicks” to make for it.

I think they don’t worth the trouble. You are better installing Decky, getting CSS loader and installing any of the keyboards available there, they are much nicer.

Steam Deck and the console users that pivoted to PC gaming during the scalpers riddled PS5/Xbox launch are probably the most likely causes for this.

It’s been roughly 8 years since I last paid for an Adobe subscription. The subscription period was over and yet they renewed it unilaterally. A whole year nonetheless.I called my bank, explained the situation, alleged scam and asked for a refund and to forever block any attempt from Adobe to charge my credit card. No only they agreed right away (which actually surprised me). They said that they have received a lot of similar request from other customers, all coming from Adobe.

I usually claim the free games but it seems I missed this :(
