Alright. Thank you so so so much.
Yeah thats what I am going to use cuz before when I was using jetbrainsmono I had all the bold, bold_italic etc and suddenly just removing em all doesn’t feel good to me.
Yep totally for satisfaction!
Gotcha. One last thing. Do I need to define helper colors as well? currently I am not doing that, but it is defined in the adw styleguide. Ain’t no way gruvbox has that much color varieties so what’s your suggestion?
Um actually no. the prompt sets the placeholder text in the search bar (top bar with search icon).
OMG you’re so right. I didn’t look at the last commit date. I just saw “RUST” and my mind said “yes”. Didn’t consider anything else. Well I use nixos and so can’t use two_percent. I am gonna wait for a while for any update or will move back to fzf then. Thank you for pointing it out, otherwise I would have been in hopes that my issue will get answered on github lol.

That’s it. Thank you for this.
I used to be all over the place trying out different window managers like Bspwm, i3, and a bunch more in Xorg. Then I stumbled upon AwesomeWM, and let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster at first but totally worth it. This bad boy, written in Lua, let me tweak everything without needing extra add-ons. I could whip up notifications, lockscreen, bars, widgets - you name it - all in one go. No need for separate plugins cluttering things up. It was all pure Lua goodness, and that’s what hooked me. Before Awesome, I had this mishmash of apps with their own configs in different languages. It worked, but it was a headache to manage. Awesome’s simplicity and all-in-one setup just clicked for me. Even though I’ve moved on to Wayland and Hyprlnad now, AwesomeWM will always have a special place in my heart. Its blend of power and customization is just too good to forget.
Good luck.
I thought so. That was also my main concern abt trying it out bcz I had an older nvidia gpu like 710 or something so that was completely incompatible but the newer ones should work good if not perfect. I can’t vouch for that though cuz I am not using nvidia now.
I’ve had a positive experience overall. While I haven’t been involved in gaming lately, I can say that for my daily work and development tasks, the transition from Xorg to Wayland has been smooth and without any major drawbacks.
Solved it. Just needed to use progressbar and progress classes in style.css. Adding background color did the job.
