i am not sure how to look mtls up reliably … but overall my highest hopes in quality opensource notes apps are for anytype right now
i think we did^^
cannot reproduce… could you try clearing your browsers cache?
+1 for bookwyrm
There are many good arguments against it floating around… but also some in favor for it… looking at previous discussions and polls, I am afraid that this would cut our userbase in half.
a few hrs ago it was discovered that the image service silently did not properly start up, it should be corrected now. sorry about that
sorry about that, it should now be corrected
sorry about that, was sure that was done already … gonna add this to my todo. if i dont respond, please just ping me again, it sadly happens from time to time that too many things are going on at once
Update: due to an unexpected error of past-milan, something needs to be redone… I expect another hour until pict-rs is back. Sorry about that 😅
Mega, freut mich! :)
dude … why would you confuse me like this by posting such an old release – even if the latest – i assumed i missed something and wondering why docker didnt pull the new image^^
not sure what happened here and i didnt spot it in the log… restored.
ah, so thats why my solar panels are crying
afair they fixed and improved stuff since the video tho
i’ve got a samsung chargepad thing, it has a builtin little cute fan (internal, not blowing on the phone) - the phone is elevated, laying on a lip so it does not have direct contact. it’s always cool to the touch even tho it charges relatively quick (80% charge limit tho)
I suppose Notesnook and StandardNotes come closest to these requirements. Also interesting: AnyType.
i hope so too :)
As far as I know, they struggle with available hardware resources right now – althrough I am not sure if thats still the case… .
Edit: if I am watching the (known federation) problem correctly, it could also be “bad” not to regularely restart the instance – if thats true… well… maybe I should restart the thing too so others read us 😅
It was indeed down for a little while because one of the two nvmes went missing on the host. I’ve copied the containers to a different host before consulting the hoster just in case and stopped them in the process. Luckily it showed up again later so we didn’t have to rely on the already worn out other drive upon reboot that may fail in the nearish future. Check out https://status.tchncs.de/ as in such cases, i leave a note there … and also usually on Mastodon and Matrix at least :)
