If Russia is serious about “winning” this war (obviously they are), they will make good on their previous threat to consider NATO troops “priority targets”.
If they don’t, NATO will continue boiling the frog until an entire NATO army is guarding Ukrainian borders.

Reuters: Poland ready to help Ukraine to get military-age men back, minister says
Poland is ready to help Ukraine in getting military-age male citizens to return and help their home country in fighting in the war against Russia, Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said on Wednesday.
The Ukrainian government announced rules on Wednesday under which passports for military-age men can be issued only inside the country instead of foreign diplomatic missions.
As a result, men aged between 18 and 59 living abroad will be unable to renew expiring passports or obtain new ones.
“I think many Poles are outraged when they see young Ukrainian men in hotels and cafes, and they hear how much effort we have to make to help Ukraine,” he said, without giving any details on how Poland will help.
“Any support is possible,” Kosiniak-Kamysz said about how Poland would respond if Kyiv asked for help in bringing home those who may lose their right to stay in Poland once their passports expire.

That part of the front is going to turn into either an uncontained Russian breakthrough or a bottomless pit for Ukrainian troops and equipment.

There are already some claims that Ocheretino has totally fallen, and that Russia is quickly moving south into Novobakhmutivka, with Ukrainian forces continuing to retreat.

Israel worries ICC could order arrest of top officials, including premier
Jerusalem is concerned that the International Criminal Court in The Hague could soon issue arrest warrants against senior officials, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, over the Israel Defense Forces operation against Hamas, Channel 12 News reported Thursday.
According to the report, an emergency meeting was held at Netanyahu’s office on Tuesday in the presence of Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, Justice Minister Yariv Levin and Foreign Minister Israel Katz.
The four decided to take “urgent action with international authorities” to prevent the arrest of Israelis abroad, Channel 12 added.
Huge respect to South Africa’s Foreign Minister, Naledi Pandor. She has been the one pushing hardest for this.
The most interesting part is that they are bypassing heavy Ukrainian fortifications. Also, the depth of the advance means that Russia isn’t too worried about Ukraine counterattacking their flanks.

I don’t think there have been any signs of major armored attacks by Russian forces. This is all happening with the usual “meat grinder” tactics as far as I can tell.
Blood is in the water, so to speak. If the Imminent Russian Offensive™ actually materializes, it could be very significant.

The plants were mostly designed according to Soviet construction codes that require them to be spread out across up to 60 process units, according to JPMorgan Chase strategist Natasha Kaneva. This builds in resilience against traditional air bombing.

Russia has been able to swiftly repair some of key oil refineries hit by Ukrainian drones, reducing capacity idled by the attacks to about 10% from almost 14% at the end of March, Reuters calculations showed.
Fun fact: Soviet-era refineries were specifically built to withstand damage from bombing.
Russia is repairing its refineries fast, despite difficulties in obtaining Western know-how.
