Jaded. Please, fuck off.
What kind of tuna are you feeding them? If it’s the human-consumption-type (i.e. StarKist) then the sodium content is way too high.
I think we’re just being pedantic about the word ‘front’ and are actually agreeing? I’m not saying they’re playing 4D chess or that we’re living in a movie, I’m only trying to make a point that they’re attempting to overwhelm the media so that we don’t know which attacks are feigned punches or immediate threats. Obviously they still want to punch the shit out of everything.
It is an America problem. The insurrectionists are, whether we like it or not, US American citizens. The issue has been the decades long systematic reeducation (“un”-education is apropos) of the public-school system. Educated people don’t participate in wanton destruction. That huge demographic of stupid people grew up and voted and now here we are.
No. Please see the forest for the trees.
The US occupation of Gaza is currently not a possibility; the logistics of annexing a country on the other side of the world for financial gain is too complex for it to get traction. They are, however, using these wild claims like annexing Canada as well to muddy the waters and make journalism nigh-impossible. Then, when the media is sufficiently pre-occupied, they will push forth the real meat of Project 2025:
Then, when citizenry is oppressed and resources are conglomerated, the administration will focus it’s sights on foreign targets. This is when they’ll actually begin making serious threats of invasion.
100% agree we have an unfair fight with an opponent who doesn’t play by the rules.
It’s their job to speak for the masses, that’s the point of being elected in a democratic authority. If only hushed whispers are spoken in a room full of aggressive baboons, who is going to hear that voice of reason? Law follows precedence and there is no precedence for a coup of the US American government, so what rule of law are they exactly following? The status quo? We need to get uncomfortable, only then will things change.
“Revolutions are the produce of passion, not of sober and tranquil reason.” ~ William Godwin.
Isn’t that a front of they intend on committing one awful thing to commit a different awful thing?
The 50501 are the group leading this charge. Their website has all the information anyone would need on where and when to protest.
I regret to inform you that I am a US American. From my POV living in this country, most US Americans actually like being dominated. I’m pretty vocal about this stuff in my daily life and I hate admitting how often I get told to “just shut up and deal with it, nothing will change”. We’re all too complacent from the gilded decades of post-war economy booms, engorged from all the wealth our government has stolen from other nations. Couple that with the rampant censorship of the past two decades; it’s easy to see the writing on the wall. We’re lazy, fat and stupid and it’s all by design.
I truly believe we’ve moved beyond the precipice and are now on a direct course to the collapse of the American Federal Oligarchy (aka the US government), where the ultra-rich will fully rape our land of all resources and then attempt to assimilate into another country to rinse and repeat.
Unless there is a nation-wide rallying call by a significant authority figure, like there should be by any one of these weak-ass “democratic” politicians, then the American general populace will continue to bitch about it online and that will be the end of the very short but wild history of USA Democracy.
It’s all a front to get you to stop focusing on the domestic, covert invasion of the US government.
I wish Sanders and AOC would take a more concrete approach to tackling this issue. Talk is cheap, now more than ever. Most Americans who are aware of the coup just need a rallying call.
I never said it was going to fade away? I’m well aware of the extreme state of US politics, as well as the realization that peaceful revolution is now impossible after this last US presidential election.
The next four years of American politics will be bankrolls of precedence for callousness and getting away with it. Please welcome Neo-America to the stage.
Couldn’t someone argue Musk’s dual-citizenship could be grounds for moving this from civil to federal; wouldn’t diverse citizenship apply here?

It sounds like she was a great person, and I’m happy you’ve found peace. I’m sure she’ll rest well knowing that.
I know all too well that time holds no prejudice to anyone. Take care, friend.
the Zelda material is super sad for me as well because my late baby sister and I bonded tightly over the Zelda games
First off, I hope you have been able to find your solace. Losing family sucks, but when it’s someone that close to you it frankly changes you. This internet stranger’s heart is with you, FWIW.
My brother and I bonded over the Zelda franchise (specifically the OoT/MM era, plus WW). We grew up rough, weren’t sure if we would even make it to our thirties, and those adventure games helped us escape from some pretty crappy experiences. To us, it’s more than a franchise: it’s a culture.
Link is (usually) never the same character in the games; they’re like reincarnations. Being a Link doesn’t mean being one singular person. To me, being a Link means being steadfast, flexible, compassionate and, above all, adventurous. Things anyone can do/be, and that’s why I think the Zelda franchise fosters some truly amazing gamers when they play those games. Although I do find myself regularly curbing the invasive thoughts to break people’s pots… small price to pay!
I digress, the explosive prevalence of the Internet has led to printed walkthrough manuals being a thing of the Early Aughts. Ahh, it’s great getting older!
This is something me and my brother always did whenever we collectively bought a new game for our N64/GameCube. I’ll never forget snapping that shrink wrap off, popping open the case, and whiffing in the wood-pulpy smell of a freshly-printed, made-with-love Wind Waker manual. It was all ogre when we bought the walkthrough manual; not even my wife smells that good.
Or should I have mentioned Pokemon Stadium…?
Dude, I only have a 36" LED and budget sound bar and I still wouldn’t go to the cinema. It’s cheaper to rent the movie online, I can ensure my popcorn is perfectly buttered and not burnt (truly a game changer), and I don’t have to shush 2.5 teenagers every matinee night.
Theaters are dead, man.
I concur, US federal supreme court judges are appointed solely by the President. This makes these positions highly political and less about merit. Furthermore, fed circuit judges are appointed by fed SC judges, so the whole federal judicial system is just political tug-o’-war.
Cherry on top is a lot of civil judges, typically circuit-level as well, run unopposed in local elections. Their tenure tends to keep red-state law red and vice-versa. So much for US America being our self-proclaimed “Marketplace of Ideas”.
I agree with revolutionizing our current federal judicial system. It is severely outdated and regularly exploited.
