Amazon’s Comixology I think often has them digitally for free. Maybe Hoopla or a similar service as well.
I find most video games and other media far more unrealistic in that nobody ever needs to go to the bathroom.

Just getting tired of youtube ads for policing agencies lately. Pretty comical ad before this video, advertising a sheriff agency seeking more violence seekers to enforce the fascism. Fuck all that.

I played a lot of Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo on PS4, and while it’s got quite a few drawbacks, I had a lot of fun still. It was most painful trying to use a wheel and get the settings right, but with controller amd easier settings, it wasn’t bad.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do words like 'conmunity', 'family', 'team', 'clan', 'society' 'country' etc still mean anything anymore, or are we devolving into individualistic people looking out for no 1?English
6·9 个月前Life and society is not some overly simplistic monolith as you’re alluding to. People have been selfish in the past just like there are communities today. Change your social circle. Try moving, try new groups, try something different. Community still exists in various forms.
