When was the last time a petition achieved anything? Better off writing directly to your MP. Parliamentary petitions exist purely to allow MPs to ignore the problem as it’s easier to dismiss a few thousand signatures on a petition rather than a few thousand letters stacking up on their desks.
Apple said users who already had it turned on will be given a period of time to disable it in order to keep using their iCloud accounts, although the length of time was not stated.
I’m in the UK and have ADP enabled but I am yet to be informed by Apple when/if it will be disabled in the future. I’m glad we had a change in government but this is a serious misstep from Labour.
ETA: I’ve written to my local MP to voice my disapproval of this “technical capability notice” and I urge anyone else in the UK to do so as well.

The article covers how a popular AI trend on social media is making talentless hacks money by posting AI generated images of “family members” stood by a piece of art and saying “my grandfather carved this but nobody appreciates his work”. Then gullible people on Facebook willingly give them money believing it’s real.
Oh!? Maybe I just haven’t been paying close enough attention then. To be fair I rarely read fast moving posts.

As to why this is even a thing that needs to be set I have no idea either.
I won some medals for ballroom dance when I was maybe 8 or 9. Not a sporting achievement I guess but it required a certain level of athleticism and co-ordination that I’m severly lacking in my 30s.
I would imagine it’ll be similar to GTA The Definitive Edition where the original engine still handles the physics etc. and Unreal is used to render the new visuals and UI.
