1·2 months agoI think this is a call-for-mods for c\funny on lemmy.ml. In my experience, most people go where the flow is - in the top 1 or 2 active communities of the same subject matter. But things and instances change all the time, so who knows. Try posting in the instance’s main discussion. Local admins will have good advice as they have been there since the beginning.
There is a law or rule or something that says “don’t use copyrighted, or portions of works, in programming your a.i. software”. To get around that, they make knock-offs and then store them on a third-party site. Then chop-up, reuse, rearrange, re-color, etc… and voila. And will claim, “our a.i. software does not ingest copyrighted stuff, no law broken, good day”.
