A friend of mine is battling cancer. He had a wish list of stuff he was asking for that he was hoping people would provide - just basic stuff like snacks to munch on, etc. At the end of the list, as a joke, he put “a katana”.

So I bought him a katana. He was so fucking happy, and I was happy, too.

Thank you, and thanks to everyone else for the great suggestions! I have ideas for several projects, but def want to start with basic stuff and work my way up from there (and just use minimal tools for now until I decide that this is what I’m into).

Probably a hot take, but I think Batfleck was the closest we’ve gotten to a comicbook accurate Batman. Batfleck’s size and build were correct (physically imposing, could have been a bit taller), he was intelligent, mostly broody, and could fight. There are some things that could have been better (being a martial artist instead of being a brawler), but of all the movie incarnations so far I’d say he’s the closest.

He was a great Superman. Perfect casting. Wrong director and story.

In Dubai and India I saw male friends holding hands together while walking down the street, and I thought it was really nice.
