I am in no way saying what’s going on is right…anytime massive amounts of life is taken it’s horrible. I think what you’re finding is a lot of Americans can barely afford to live anymore and I mean A LOT. While their way of what they consider to be barely living/scraping by is tens of millions of times better than what’s going on around the world most are so beaten down for their standard of living the reality is setting in hard and you’re seeing the breakdown of a country right before your eyes.

No one besides the privileged people give a shit right now is what you’re seeing because the privileged can afford to stand and picket for a night. Many people are one paycheck away from doom or have iron fist bosses that penalize them for missing a single day of work.
