Yes! On Reddit I tried to explain several times that the Deck’s battery was 5200mah but not at 3.7 volts, and as such a badass 25000mah Anker would NOT charge it “at least 4 times” but probably 2.

It’s not a big deal tbh, but this is a thing people use on long flights, spreading misunderstandings can get people stuck mid flight without entertainment.

Brands: right now I would look at iniu first, Baseus and then maybe Ugreen but last time it wasn’t an epic offering. Anker IS a good brand, but after the fiasco with their eufy camera security, I avoid all their products. In fairness however if you’re not going to boycott them, a power bank or charge cable is not going to be a security risk….

Some games don’t really use it in a meaningful way, others make it a key component of gameplay. Sometimes gimmicky, obviously. For example I tried Mario Galaxy on the Deck, there’s a puzzle that requires finding the right spot with the HD rumble. The Deck has the same kind of haptics, but it didn’t translate at all into something meaningful, so that one puzzle cannot be solved. Old school rumble is ok and nice, but modern devices (Steam Deck, Switch, PS5, something like last 10 years of iPhones, obviously the Steam Controller) have proper haptics and can really do weird things. Click on the trackpad of your Deck when it’s off. The click is faked with haptics, so there’s none when it’s off! Main problem is that both Microsoft and Nintendo are strikingly dumb, so Microsoft is still clinging to 30 year old tech with the classic rumble, and Nintendo has HD Rumble only on the real Switch… so developers can’t expect everything to have proper haptics, and fall back to rumble.

I have a Sovol SV07 Plus, that is the newer version of the SV06 Plus… or in other words, the mechanically identical, but larger, SV06. It’s easy to assemble, it’s bigger than the A1 Mini. Now, you don’t know how big your printer needs to be, until you find out that it’s too small! I found that the 22cm square offered by my old Ender 3 was enough for most things, but it wasn’t enough for everything. I also had a 12cm square with a Monoprice Select Mini Plus V2(the name was the biggest thing lol) and that was quick to become restrictive. Would I suggest the A1 Mini, that has halfway between the two? I don’t know. But at the same time it comes pre assembled (it might not be a concern for you) and easy to use. In short I would recommend the SV07 as that’s the small and less expensive version of what I have, but the SV06 should be mechanically identical so that gives me hope it’ll perform equally well. The downsides are a less than stellar control unit (the hardware inside the touchscreen), a weird as fuck cooling fan that is super loud, and instructions that trick you into believing that the packets of screws are numbered in a meaningful way. Don’t. That said it prints everything with ease, it’s really fast and that fan might be loud, but at the same time works wonders. I love it. Oh! Also. Once I ever so slightly fucked up the Z offset, making it scrape quite thoroughly the build surface: nothing got damaged, build surface included!

It’s a bit of a general issue. The police in itself is good, however… it’s a job that puts people into a position of power. Power corrupts, and if you factor in that they’re not well paid (because tanks and so on are better ways to spend a budget…) but are supposed to put their lives on the line, then get treated either like the enemy or the “thin blue line” I see how things can go bad. Being a public service, they’re managed by the government and sent to deal with trouble accordingly, and the definition of trouble varies with whoever is at the top. Sprinkle in some dangerous levels of nationalism, the US being a super power and you most certainly get to hear about their unrest, while the stuff going on in your own country might be less flashy.

The wireless Reolinks are not great. Like, nothing against the camera itself, however, the WiFi antenna must be smaller than the one in my watch. The range is truly abysmal.

Tapo ones are perfectly fine, good quality all around, but it’s important to specify that I have experience with external, solar powered Reolinks and indoor Tapo, so it’s a bit of a different category.

Speaking of, what browser do you use for this? I have tried Vivaldi but even in its default “trust me bro, I’m Chrome” user agent it says it’s not supported. Firefox says it’s supported but I got no stream and in the end I despise less Edge compared to Chrome so that’s what I’m using…

You know, upon further reflection you’re right. I can see some mini dv cassettes that look like they are just off the factory floors, countered by the cover of my old iPhone 5 that’s sewage colored so that’s probably what comes after yellow, my old G-Shock is yellowing and that’s impressive given it’s dark gray, but the box for the Swatch Beat is crystal clear.

True! But this was near the end of the gpu shortage, no price made sense. Hell, there was a 3060 sold and fulfilled by Amazon that was priced over 4K euro! They didn’t care when I reported the price error. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yep, he’s an architect and the choice of nice and transparent cover was purely cosmetic. I don’t think he really cares what other people think, but going from nice to yellowed is another matter.

I have a similar attitude towards colors as you do: if there’s one that costs less, I’m going for it. Once found a gimbal that somehow was half the price in the pink variant: I now have a conversation starter that when folded, thanks to the gentle pink hue and the overall shape, looks like a dildo. The really, really amusing thing in all of this is that my computer is fully white. The case was slightly less expensive in white. The psu was on offer in the white variant. Towards the end of the gpu shortage one of the few available, the least expensive one, was white… it sits under the desk, with the glass panel towards the wall. XD

AND they like to yellow at the speed of light. My brother got a nice, transparent cover for his phone “it’s going to look awful in a few months” and sure enough a few months later he had a different one precisely because of that.

I would personally steer clear of that specific controller unless I’d plan on using it with a Switch or a Switch emulator: digital triggers? Sure fire way to have trouble with most things released in the last pair of decades.

Anyway with the Deck so far I’ve happily used an 8bitdo Sn 30 Pro+, an Xbox Series S one and, not necessarily a sensible thing but still a nice test, a GameSir T4 Kaleid (that is my overall main controller). Somehow I’m still lazing and not getting around to test the DualSense

On the other hand it’s possible the opposite. Gunner HEAT PC is verified. There’s no way to get 30 fps and controls barely work with a keyboard, so I wonder what the devil happened between the time it got verified and when I tried it.

Seconding this. I had a rock solid Ender 3 since 2018 that got a few upgrades (btt 32 bit silent board, geared extruder, abl, couple of printed add ons) but never really needed any maintenance, recently upgraded to a Sovol SV07 Plus (big SV07, mechanically similar to the SV06) and hot damn! It’s a beast. Not only it goes stupid fast, can reach higher temperatures, heats faster… but it’s great out of the box and it prints TPU like nothing. Really, I tested it without changing anything and it worked fine. Downsides are that I got used to Octoprint and it can’t be used here, but Klipper is a decent replacement. Now, the ugly bit about that: it’s running on a really cheap board and an oddly customized os. You don’t notice any of that normally so that’s a plus, HOWEVER if like me you have a Spaghetti Detective/Obico account things change. There’s some copy paste to do via ssh, then the webcam struggles to hit 15 fps and whatever you do DON’T push any update button! Those wrecked everything. Not a fun few hours when I tried to figure out how to fix it.

Anyway the SV06 mentioned by OP is with Marlin rather than Klipper so none of the warnings apply :D
