Very common and often preferable. Code where I’m at requires it to be at least 3’ away from any point which air may enter. This includes air intakes for ventilation, operable sections of windows, and ventilated soffit being used as an intake for attic ventilation.
I know going straight into the attic isn’t ideal, but if you have a large attic with great ventilation it’s usually fine. Do you see any evidence of mold? How is the attic ventilation set up?
Lemmy can be such a hateful place sometimes. Mom and Pop landlords such as yourself are not the problem. I would assume that most people renting from you are not in a situation where they can buy a house yet. Providing them a place at a reasonable price gives them the opportunity to save for a house of their own. I think just about everybody who has bought a house had to rent first, including myself, without available rentals what would we do?
I’ve watched pretty much the whole thing in Crunchyroll. I really like the beginning. It’s kind of dragging on and getting boring for me now. But maybe that’s just because I ran out of episodes and came back.
I still like and recommend it. I can’t wait for the ending.
