I’ve worked in tech support since 2016, I love anime and rhythm games, and I’m a fan of motorsports.

It was just a very weird weekend for motorsports overall
Nyamu is the catalyst this show needs for literally anything to get done
The annoying thing to me has been that you could always call Cup “Cup” and Trucks “Trucks” but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone come up with a non-sponsored abbreviation for Xfinity/Busch/Nationwide
The ride never ends.
Pretty terrible to do that to Pourchaire after he committed to backing out of Super Formula.
Long Beach in particular was really good, with multiple viable pit strategies and a pretty down-to-the-wire finish.
Also a really good article by MP explaining how they got caught:

Feels a bit overly-complicated, but I’m willing to give it a chance
I’m not sure why they decided to make an anime to cater to me specifically, but I’m down for it
Probably a good thing considering what a disaster IndyCar starts and restarts tend to be in general.
…Is the “everything app” actually going to become a thing?
I’m hoping iRacing’s NASCAR game manages to actually be good, and if it is, hopefully they can grab the Indycar license.
The Indycar article doesn’t definitively say, but full-time seems like a good guess.
The ride never ends
The smug attitude he had during his interview didn’t give me much of a sense of maturity, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My take: regardless of the details of who started what and who was at fault, it’s not a good look for Crafton to be fighting with a kid half his age.
Between grabbing the charter for Zane Smith next year and the KBM acquisition, Spire definitely seems to be going pretty all-in for 2024, so it’ll be interesting to see how it all turns out for them.
Love him or hate him, “I beat your favorite driver” is a pretty badass line.
Absolutely epic pass for the win by the 45
I don’t mind the long runs that not having the has given us, but I also don’t think they affected the strategy the way everyone seemed to think they would.
I’m glad I watched Long Beach instead
