There’s !snakeswithhats@lemmy.world but the last post was 2 years ago.
Three games I played recently:
Among Ashes - Somewhat short, but ended up being quite good. It does a good job at building tension and generally doesn’t rely on cheap jump scares.
10 Dead Doves - One of the few games I that made me want to play through a second time. Interesting story, some funny moments, emotional moments, good voice acting. I highly recommend this one.
In Sound Mind - This was sitting in my backlog for a while and I wasn’t really expecting much, but I ended up really enjoying this one too. The ending even had me feeling emotional, which is very rare, but
it made me think about my own cat who died a few months ago.
I just finished playing Among Ashes and I thought it was quite good but I finished it in about 7 hours. This isn’t an old game though, but it has a retro style for much of the game.
There’s a special place in my heart for shitty pizza.
Somestimes I go by Chuck.
Any tips for fitted sheets?
I think he’s about 12 now.
Maybe not that guy specifically, but the Goods Unite Us app is basically a big list of brands and products and which parties they’ve donated to.
I thought that might be what it was, but I forgot the word “vole”.
I think that fox news and other right-wing propaganda media must be dealt with first. Otherwise they’ll continue to demonize any movement that attempts to fix things and ensure that nothing changes.
Imprisonment for simply saying something that in no sane world would be considered a crime.
Pogs, I think.
I had to play Wolfenstein 3D with the little wafer speaker on the motherboard.
With the way I play when I’m getting drowsy, I’d probably be better off starting over.
I haven’t played The Outer Worlds, but the screenshots look to me like just a regular old sci-fi game (not necessarily a bad thing though).
But Outer Wilds actually impressed me. If you plan to play it, don’t watch any gameplay videos. Go into it with zero expectations.
That’s how I felt after finishing Outer Wilds.
I kinda miss doing those relatively simple physics probems like finding how far something goes based on velocity and shit.
My comment was intended as a joke, not advice.
I have a keyboard with 10 macro keys, 5 on each side. I don’t have a whole lot of uses for them except when using Blender, I have buttons set to switch between vertex, edges, and face selection modes, one to zoom in on the selected objects, and another one or buttons to quickly scale things down to zero on a single axis.
Then I set another mode to do some repetetive things in Dwarf Fortress.
