I don’t really know what “woke” means either. I have seen it used so many different ways. I am not against transgenderism though.

I am leftist but I don’t know what “red pilled leftist” means. Outside of listening to Tim Pool’s podcast every now and then, I don’t really look at much political content. I do like free speech and don’t like censorship though.

I came here from reddit specifically because this instance seems like it has less censorship than most others. I don’t really go on the internet to talk about politics or social issues but I know I would be banned from most places if I mentioned some of my opinions. I got banned from a lot of subreddits for just posting a few times in r/KotakuInAction and r/TimPool. I don’t expect to be welcome in places like beehaw but I hope the fediverse can avoid becoming a bunch of echochambers. I just want a place where I can talk about the things I like without worrying about getting banned if I accidentally show that I’m not part of the hivemind.

By “take” they clearly mean to move it to a new location, but do not stand on the stage at any point during the process of moving it.

I think the people that would seek out a third party app are mostly the kind of people that would do the extra work of copying and pasting an API key. It will definitely be a smaller userbase than before though.

Couldn’t they just have the app ask for the user’s API key? I use a weather app that does that with OpenWeatherMap.
