I heard that people use Proton over Tuta because Tuta, being German, are part of the 5 Eyes, (or is it 14 Eyes?) whereas Switzerland has stronger privacy laws.

First time on the Internet? Surely you don’t think that all the people commenting online are experts in the topic being discussed. Whether he is an expert or not, just because you don’t like him, you tell other people not to post his articles. Personally, the only thing I know about the guy is he coined the term “enshittification”, which some people don’t like, but he was right in his description of the term. Otherwise, we’d all be using Reddit still.

It’s the Internet. People are going to do or say thing other people don’t like. Don’t take it personally.

VIC=20, Commodore 64, Vendex HeadStart, Zenith (forget the model), Tandy TL/2, then I had a 386SX/20 built, then I started building my own starting with a 486-DX4/100.

First dabbled with Linux when I bought a CD from Staples with “Linux95” on it. It was just Slackware. Then Red Hat 4.0 and Corel Linux.

It was good. This is the first time I’ve seen it mentioned since my buddy and I saw it on MuchMusic back in the late '80s or early '90s.

I nuked my Windows 11 and went with Fedora KDE, too.
