I think you’re onto something, but this still fits the definition of censorship. I feel like you’d have a better rebuttal if you argued that some censorship is actually good for society. I’d agree with you there, in this case. But no need try to dress it up like it isn’t censorship when it is.

If I were a single indie dev with a game that was 90% complete in Unity, I think it would be fair to myself to say “well, this will be the LAST game I build in Unity”.

I get to make this choice soon. We’re planning on having our first kid soon, and my wife makes way more money than me. She’ll support me whether or not I choose to be a a stay-at-home dad. I appreciate hearing from someone who has been there!
