Israel’s position in most of the world is already very shaky. Even in many liberal circles, Israel’s behavior is not ‘appreciated’. Using a nuke (even a single one) on an Iranian city would certainly lose them even more of their remaining goodwill and make this an existential war for all parties involved. I don’t see Israel going that far unless they are getting absolutely crushed and see a total defeat at hand.
