hi, don’t know why you on my profile, but I hope you enjoy it.
That is so annoying.
Philipps is a shady company and I support anyone who decides not to buy from them ever again.
With the Hue bulbs the force you to share data, so I had to manually install an old version of the app just to not share data - no other way to opt out. So I can’t say I’m surprised they pulled something like this.
tl;dr: Keep away from Philipps!
Why would it need to be activated? they usually run on a closed network, with no internet connection anyways
or, hear me out, use firefox instead
ya think someone’s gonna lose their job life about this?
It really depends on the types of game-nights you host.
If its poker, blackjack etc. it might be a good idea to put some felt over the table with prints of where to put the chips, the cards, the dealer etc.
If you are also into old-school chess and checkers you might want to consider interchangeable tops (just cut out a piece of the table where you can put in the boards, kind of lile you can see in the picture)
hope that helps!
hi,
not exactly what you asked for, but if you are also interested in cities, you might want to consider Cityframes
They are expensive, but they do look quite cool!
thank you!
I know right? No idea how I got flagged as a bot🤷🏼♂️
Just tap on sort by [insert the way you sort by here]. but yes, that would be a great addition!
I’m sorry for your loss!
Grand Mountain Adventure, its fun, you can play it in bursts or over longer periods and has a catchy soundtrack!
Damn, proud of you!
I am currently using ReVanced. If YouTube continues trying to cut off users with addblock on and get to ReVanced I might actually be happy just because it would cure my addiction.
I’m glad about what happened with reddit, I stopped that right away and even if I’m using Lemmy I spend less time on here than I ever spend on reddit!
nice, what did you do?
check out the community over at weloveboobs@lemmy.ml
/s
(on second thought, maybe we should created that community)
I think the only ‘problem’ I have is that the content is relatively scarce. I too need to put more effort into commenting and posting, like every one else should too.
That being said, I do like the idea of not using reddit anymore. I swear I am way more productive, even with the time spent on Lemmy. The community seems (at least generally speaking) more wholesome.
There are subreddits that I do miss, I am checking every week if they migrated, hoping they will make it!
chess or other board games are inexpensive and you can learn a lot and make friends along the way.
Fotography can be expensive, but if you do it just as a hobby, you could take your phone or get a cheap camera and try to get up early on weekends and take some photos of the city.
reading books, especially about animals (specifically birds) could be an option too.
