And, for that reason, about half the papers (depending on the field) published in Nature are wrong.

Don’t pick it up if you’re only down a few HP: save it for later when you can use the full ability.

I expect I’m coming from a different moral framework than yours, and I don’t expect to be able to change your mind, but do allow me to suggest that while a divorce might not be the worst thing in the world, it’s also not a good thing. So far as it’s up to you, be a man (person?) of your word if you promise to love until death do you part, or don’t promise in the first place.
I wish you all the best.

(Great writing for a rant that you didn’t proof-read. I especially like the LaTeX-like emdashes.)
No-one should tell you what to do. You need to decide yourself what you want, and then stick to it. I have no idea how you’ll do four years long distance when you’re already having trouble after one. But if you decide she’s The One for you and she feels the same about you, then stay the course and maybe attempt to make your relationship more permanent (marriage) which might solve some of the problems (or make them worse if you’re not both committed to it). If she’s not The One then better to split earlier than later, IMO — you’re not married so go your separate ways. It’s great that you care about her and are worried about how she will fare without you, but if you’re not both committed to the relationship then you can’t make it work and she will have to fend for herself.
You can find instructions online for stretches and exercises, but that doesn’t hold my interest. I bit the bullet and joined a gym, going a couple of times a week to keep loose. Maybe I could do the stuff I do there at home (after purchasing some equipment), but I think the environment is worth the expense. I don’t talk to anyone else except to greet the staff, but I like the fact that other people are around and it’s a space dedicated to working out.

How do you know that the plane that just landed is from England? Even when the engines have been shut down, you can still hear the whining.

It’s a little bit frightening.

Those spikes keep dragons from perching on the tower. Simple, but incredibly effective!

We’ve seen this movie, haven’t we?

Note that you can’t see the black hole in this image (an optical HST image). The black hole was identified through microlensing of the object labeled “source”, followed by subsequent astrometric observations. The black hole is the lens, which is not seen in these images because it’s too faint.

And don’t feed it after midnight!

In the best case, the detection is at the 2.4 sigma confidence level (less than the usual 3 for reasonable confidence and will below the 5 required for strong confidence), and if previously suspected issues with the instrument are true, the detection could disappear completely.
I do not have a strong confidence in this result. (But at least they didn’t publish it in Nature, in which case you would absolutely know it’s wrong…)

You have to ask yourself the question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Except that might “prove” to them that you have something to hide.
Demoted? I bet he’s real worked up about that.
Anecdotal only, sorry. I’m sure it varies by field, and it’s more about letters than longer papers. There are probably fields where Nature is excellent, but I know that there is at least one where the odds of a letter to Nature being accurate a few years later is about 50%.
