Carriers have always been able to tell you were doing it. I used to get calls from AT&T everytime I tried to do it.

Why is this good news exactly? Doesn’t this just mean that people who want to see content from Threads will be driven to that app instead? Why not allow Lemmy users to see Threads content without them actually having to support Meta?
Yeah I jumped ship once it started getting bad. We had a good run for a few months though.
It’s the novelty mostly, plus the fact that smaller communities are more fun to engage in. The same thing happened back on Voat.
