I would honestly just back up my files and start over with a fresh new install. I have never been successful in copying everything over, especially not if you are planning on changing the file systems. I know you mentioned that you don’t really want to do that, but that’s my 2 cents

Maybe, but I keep seeing the same complaint over and again from people, I do t really care about it for myself, I have a separate account for the naughty stuff, everything else is blocked on my main account, but sometimes nsfw doesn’t mean porn, maybe it’s explicitly described violence, or something else, not just porn. Maybe I would like the option to have nsfw content presented to me that isn’t people getting fucked. More nuance in the content delivery would be appreciated

If you press on the little hamburger menu on the top left next to All(new) you should see the settings menu on the left
There is an option to hide posts that you’ve already read in settings, I know that’s not exactly the same thing, and I haven’t tested it out, but that might help solve the problem of seeing the same posts every time we open the app
