        The planet isn’t dying. We probably wouldn’t even be responsible for the largest mass extinction in Earth’s history.

        No, it’s humanity that needs saving. As much as we believe we have a mastery over nature, ultimately we cannot hope to live without it. And so it’ll be us who’ll go extinct.

        A few thousand years after the last human is gone, life will be filling in niches again. Evolution keeps moving forward.
