I’ve only recently begun to go there.

Initial impressions are that it’s totally mainstream, liberal, tepid, weak-kneed and brunch-bound.

X has been pathetic reactionary propaganda and misinformation so I understand why it exists as a supposed antidote. But how lame.

I was banned from Reddit today, as r/NBA was discussing gambling. Someone said wealthy people are making a lot of money, so gambling wouldn’t be stopped. I said we can stop it by cutting their heads off.

We’ve seen literal nazi speech be left unmoderated for decades online. Then one single CEO gets luigied and all of a sudden they do happen to have moderation tools.

I’m surprised how a supposedly far-left space has such heavy restrictions on free speech.

Any space where I’m not allowed to say basic, common sense things like death, death to the IDF is a space that is not worth my time or effort.

Bluesky is a liberal shithole kept relevant by the leftists and queer people because Xitter is now a Nazi shithole.

bluesky isn’t even close to “far left”, it’s just another corporate social media site by the guy that founded twitter
all capitalist owned platforms exist to protect the capitalist class

People are trying so hard to make bluesky work that they now made skylight.social on the AT protocol. Make it make sense.
