look at all that blue thats wasted space between the creamed corns and it takes up over half the can
my point is that everyone talks about that but no one talks about the same thing happening with cans of creamed corn despite cans being sturdy enough to not need padding

Yes, exactly. The goo isn’t wasted space, it’s just as much part of the creamed corn as the whole kernels.
