Google is working on a feature for Android 16 that alerts you when your device’s time zone has been automatically updated.

  • This alert will come in the form of a notification.
  • The feature isn’t live yet in the latest Android 16 preview, but when it does go live, it’ll be opt-in.

Sounds like a nice QOL mini-feature.

    iOS accidentally has this feature if you use apple health to track medications. Whenever the time zone changes, it’ll send the user a notification to ask the user if they want to adjust the schedule for the different time zone or maintain the existing times
