What do you call separating a mother from her baby and killing him because he’s born male in the dairy industry? What do you call pigs that have no space and accidentally crush their piglets while hearing their screams because their legs cannot stand anymore? What do you call being surrounded by your excrement 24/7 and the only sunlight you get is on the way to the slaughter house? Stop defending abusers.
They’re separeted from their mothers and not allowed to feed. The mothers cry out wiyh so much agony. The calves are confined and given powdered milk in water, often not enough.
in torture inflicting pain or distress is the point. if all of these procedures could be done without the pain or distress, they would be. the pain or distress is incidental. it’s not torture. qed
the controversy is in the structure, completeness, and origin. the constituent parts aren’t controversial, except to the extent that they may not be complete. self actualization may require a mastery of french cuisine, and that will require dairy, eggs, fish, poultry, and meat.
You can get everything from maslows pyramid being vegan. Side note though the pyramid has been controversial for a long time
you don’t know that. it’s patronizing to presume you know others’ needs.
WFPB is the cheapest diet in the world, no one needs animal products to survive.
for some people, that might be true. for others, no. regardless, survival is not all that people need.
What do people need from animal products? Especially so strong of a need that it requires the cycle of breeding and torture I’ve already discussed?
i don’t presume to tell others what they need. i’m only saying you dont know any more than i what anyone needs.
Some needs are quite aparent, and animal products is not a need.
for some people this might be true. for others, no.
Show me one human who needs animal products. I’ve yet to find one out of the tens of thousands I’ve spoken to throughout activism
no one is torturing animals.

the vast majority of calves are brought to full weight before slaughter, but this isn’t torture either.

Separation of love is torture. It’s agonogizing pain. Imagine being sexually assaulted and then giving birth and someone steals your child from you

Intention doesn’t define torture. Many people aren’t sadists, but they like money more than they care about morals. Or taste from the consumers.

Killing isn’t a requirement for any culture, there are many french vegans and they’ve adapted their coisine. It’s further adapting everyday
there may be french vegans, but they can’t prepare foie gras or croissants or brie or camembert.
Yes they can and have lol.
saying it doesn’t make it so.
French vegans exist lmao
but they can’t master french cuisine.
Yes they can…? And have. People all around the world are modernizing their foods to be without the cruelty
