This is some dumb right-wing hit piece blog dressed up like something else. This isn’t a meltdown, it’s obvious frustration. He’s pretty angry at apathetic voters, and he has every right to be considering what is at stake. Being apathetic about voting because your top issue isn’t being catered to is sort of irrelevant when the entire functioning of our government will go away if Trump is allowed back in power.

Okay, but how do you get those apathetic people to the polls? You can either yell at the clouds as this guy, or put the onus where it belongs and get politicians to cater to people’s needs.

What he’s saying: start getting the media talking about the actions you’re taking on said things, and other Democrats as well.

But how? Democrats have been trying to get the media to discuss what they want when they want for like 4 decades now. Mainstream media has decided it’s on the side of business and Dems are bad for that (I disagree, but then I’m not a CEO, just someone who can read a chart), so how do you get them talking about the benefits of (D) actions instead of just the drawbacks they want to highllight in the 3 minute segment they only agreed to just to show how unrealistic or expensive or whatever they think those actions are?

It’s pretty easy. Add a rider to your bill to provide free American flags for orphans. Or a cookie for every child. Something dumb to grab attention.

Then talk about the actual bill when people ask you about it.

But Biden has done a bunch of shit worth talking about - the media just doesn’t care because it isn’t controversial. A good example is the lead pipe refurbishing fund - it’ll be in the news cycle for an hour or two and then all the focus will shift back to the Trump trial.

From what I’ve seen of her (not a swifty) I don’t think she would ever outright tell people who to vote for. However, if, on top of telling people to vote in general, she just passively mentioned who she was planning to vote for, I feel like that person would get a +20 point lead on the other guy.

I creation by the DLC and Bill Clinton shifting the party to the right to attract moderate republicans. And they keep shifting further and further to the right. To the point if someone was able to describe todays Democrat party to someone in the 1980s they would assume they were describing republicans

It’s like Biden forgot optics were a thing because of Teflon Don. If Biden loses this election, it’s entirely his own fault.

Just throw the young people a small bone, it’s not like they vote in masse anyway. He doesn’t even need to try to stop the genocide, just admit its happening and say he is against it…
