Switched to an android tablet (tab S8 ultra) drawing is great and clip studio has so many features… But so pricey. Also hate that there’s no real offline mode. Miss procreate in a lot of ways, mainly because I spent a lot of time getting used to it. Anyway, now my clip studio trial is over so… Let’s see what happens!

    I would never go with a subscription solution, especially as disgusting as what Clip Studio Paint does. There are many other good options on Android but it might be the case that none of the rise to the level Procreate is at right now.

    My favorite one recently has been ibisPaint, the paid version not the “X”. It has a lot of features and one time payment for most of what you would need (and some unnecessary extras behind subscription). The UI is definitely not as pretty as procreate but it’s functional. I’ve had good results after getting used to it.

    Side note: tab s8 ultra is awesome!

    Clip studio is on sale right now! It would be worth getting a year on the discount. I used infinitepainter for years and finally made the switch. I have seen a dramatic difference in my workflow.

      Not only did I miss this message, but by the time you posted I had already paid the ~$30 for the year. DANG. Thank you so much for the heads up though, even though I couldn’t take advantage of it I really appreciate you taking the time to relay the info here. Maybe someone else was able to do it.
