Title. I plan on deleting my account soon but want all my comments to point people to lemmy. I know there are several ways to do so but I can’t remember what they are. I did a search here before posting but nothing related came up.
I’m planning on changing my comments to something like:
Edit: Moved to Lemmy
but is there something better I can say?

I used power delete suite. It also let’s you save a copy of all the original comments with their permalinks in a CSV.

You may need to run it more than once. I think due to rate limiting from reddit for many edits like this.
Maybe add a link to join-lemmy.org . The documentation there is quite helpful for newcomers to understand how it works and where to sign up.
I generally agree. I feel, though, that that page needs an overhaul. Its dark, has screens of code and talks about link aggregation for the fediverse. Not something the average user will feel encouraged to spend time on. That’s a page for people who know what’s going on.
Needs to be a softer entry point. In my opinion.
