I have always liked open world games as a concept, but I’ll have a very bad sense of direction. So when er I play open world games I keep getting lost and frustrated. Eventually getting bored and dropping the game. I am curious how other people with bad sense of directioncope with this problem.
I am awful with direction in the real world, but I was born just in time for GPS to save me. Open World video games usually have guiding paths and minimaps with waypoints to help in the same way. It does seem to be a bit hit and miss, though. I tried to play Breath of the Wild and got absolutely lost and gave up quickly; where in Skyrim I can frolic across the map without a care.
