From being less likely to graduate from college to experiencing much higher rates of “deaths of despair,” men and boys in the US — especially working-class men and boys — are suffering.
It says working class, so I wonder if the types of jobs men tend to take in that pay grade are more physically/psychologically damaging. I know it’s a stereotype but I’m picturing “dirty” vs “clean” jobs might bring them down more. Like coal mining vs. waitressing idk
