Actually sounds like this DLC includes more than I was pessimistic expecting

Been like this forever, Max is so much better in those RBR cars than any second driver
In Vienna, over the last decade the authorities have removed hundreds of parking spots like this where cars repeatedly blocked the tram. Now, the number of times it happens is very low, since the spots that remain should be very easy to Park in a way that doesnt block
I wonder if Piastri’s car has some kind of damage that they havent found yet. Would be pretty weird for him to suddenly lose his form.
Did Piastri just laugh about Tsunoda cursing? :D
Source for that?
Looks more like a leopard pattern to me.
No one watching this GP will make the association “ah yes, this references the Visa card!”
It’s close… I’ve seen worse throwback liveries for sure
In specialized fields, technology that broadly falls under “artificial intelligence” as in logic programs can be useful. LLMs however are not useful.
I mean, it’s an open “heads up” so better that than not informing their students at all
It was poor planning from McLaren to not think ahead of what to do in such a situation. I have heard people suggest that McLaren didn’t plan for these celebrations because it would be “bad luck”
It’s a shame.
Video game publishers stopped commissioning videos from animation studios. The article says this is a “post-pandemic downturn”, but I’m not sure this has anything to do with the pandemic. It’s simply a stylistic shift in what game trailers look like currently.
The US writer and actor strikes 2023 certainly didn’t help, and pushed out production schedules because they were working so much with Hollywood despite being a Scottish studio.
But in the end it’s down to how they worked, dragging themselves from fully working on one project to the next one, from commission paycheck to commission paycheck. That’s not a reliable business model in the long run. It can work and it works for lot of these production companies, but this is one example to caution.
Also, the commissioning studios basically killed them by refusing to pay initial payments when the new projects couldn’t be started on time.
Reading up on it a bit more, it seems like Lando also only was there by coincidence. And it indeed was just a FOM thing for show. Weird move by Liberty.
I didn’t see this live, but what the fuck were they thinking to celebrate the WCC without their WDC-leading driver??
Maybe this was FOM stressing them to celebrate at this specific time, but if it was a team decision then they’re actively doing bs and you don’t want to pull that bs with a driver managed by Mark Webber
Thats more an 18th century thing than a 19th century thing, I’d assume
Unity, fucking over CS:II since 2015
To be fair to Doohan and Colapinto, both of them didn’t have the same amount of possibilities to drive into P6+ as the others
So one of their IndyCar sim drivers, one Haas-/Ferrari-linked ex-F1 reserve and one General Motors driver
I wonder how much that additional weight impacts any preparations on sim etc that the teams have done. Might mean that they don’t have a lot of data going into the weekend.
The free part was already patched in before summer while the DLC itself got delayed to now
