One time I interviewed at target a second time after turning down a previous offer from them. At the end the guy asked why I turned them down before and I told him I already made more at the job I was at. Then he asked if I only wanted to work there for the money. Lol of course I had to say yes because what kind of fucked up question is that. Maybe he thought I just wanted to work there because I love target? Nah I just want to pay my bills. I would rather stay home thanks

Me: I really love the work your company does. Really impressive.
Interviewer: Really? What is your favorite?
Me: Um. What do company is this again?

As long as there is someone that can drain the passion out of you. Otherwise it doesn’t really sound fair.

I guess I just don’t understand where goods and services come from if people are not “exploited for their labor”.

You know that people used to make, build and sell things and reap the profits themselves, right? Before corporations ruined the world along with the most powerful country codifyin greed and authoritarianism as the main virtues of society 😮‍💨

I know you are being clever and what community this is, but that’s the answer to why you want a job, not this job.
